The MTB Tour Vögeialm is a easy and marked tour which is of Forstau 10.7 kilometers long and 475 altimeters. There are only a few very short sections with a slope between 5-10%. Since the first 4 km are paved and the rest is to go on a good gravel road, it is not technically demanding, and so the mtb tour can also be described as family-friendly. You have to watch out for traffic because the cars can drive up to Vögeialm.

From the nice ski resort Forstau (Fageralm) we take the first 4km along a paved road to Farmau. The first 2.5 km with a 5% slope are the most difficult. Until the last farm where the gravel road begins, we go in between even a little downhill. On the remaining 6.7 km  the tour leads pass very beautiful pastures up to the hut - Vögeialm 1.383m. Especially nice is unfortunately not managed Hintereggalm after 9.5 km on 1.340m. After 10km start a 2km long loop. First you drive left to the hut – Vögeialm and at the drive pack you’ll passes the also well managed hut – Fallhausalm 1.353m.

Sporty mountain bikers can after the break on the Vögeialm even drive up with long difficult slopes (20%) very challenging mountain bike tour to the lake - Oberhüttensee.

After the hut - Fallhausalm we go on the same road back to Forstau.
