Pruggern is a municipality in the Upper Styrian Enns valley between Gröbming and Schladming. The approximately 650 residents live in an area of 21.75 km ². As can be seen in the arms of Pruggern suggests, the place name is derived from the designation "country on the bridge." Meant a Roman stone bridge from the time of the Romans by the Enns valley the first streets and roads is built. The first written mention of Pruggern was in 1074 with the founding of the congregation in Admont. The ski area Galsterbergalm consists of a gondola, a chairlift and two ski lifts and a platter lift. Children has with the gallic village the largest country in the region. There are up to 10m high snow figures, a 81m long magic carpet, talking Gallic characters and Gallic wooden huts. Floodlit toboggan run 5 km, two ski lodges, permanent race track, hut village with 14 cottages.
The cottage village was built 2008 in an area of 24.000m ². The seven large cabins for up to 24 people and six small cottages were built for 12 people at a hut suppliers (including Apartment for 10 persons) with sun terrace and swimming pond. By car you reach the luxurious lodges at an altitude of 1,200 m, immersed in the ski and hiking area.
