Hall bei Admont lies between the Haller walls to the north and the Gesäuse entrance. This idyllic village with its 1.800 inhabitants is an excellent residential and resort. The name Hall is from the salt pans in which up to 1543 salt was mined. Today, the salt deposits is in the vital area reopened to visitors as a healthy attraction, as the fine droplets of salt water have a soothing effect on the respiratory system.

For hikers, there are many beautiful hiking trails. So also is a salt-and a river trail was built. In Gesäuse entrance forces the Enns (largest river in the district Liezen) through this narrow canyon. For all who want an adventure experience can go rafting and canyoning. Many skiers will appreciate the total 30-kilometer cross-country ski trails in Hall near Admont that are awarded the Styrian track mark, very much. Of which 10 kilometer are groomed for skating.

Other leisure activities include a heated outdoor pool, 3 tennis courts, two playgrounds, three ice rinks, skating rink, hiking, mountain biking, cycling.

The second webcam is further south in Unterhall and shows us the beautiful view from there to the Haller walls.
