| The ski resort Wurzeralm extends from 810 to 1870m and includes 20 km of ski trails (8 easy, 10 moderate and 2 difficult). The ski area is located in Upper Austria near the Pyhrnpass. Only 2km away there is a exit from the highway A9 Pyhrnautobahn. Directly at the basestation is a large parking lot. Of the 7 lifts in the ski resort Wurzeralm especially the cable car is worth. The lift leads from the valley to the Teichlboden at about 1400Hm. With a chair lift you‘ll reach the Frauenkar (1870m) at the foot of the mountain Warscheneck. With chair lift was built to the Gammeringsattel (1805m). There are also 3 ski lifts and a rope tow and magic carpet in the Sunny Kids Park. Children under 10 years can ski free when parents purchased simultaneously a ski card. (IDs required). In the ski area Wurzeralm 60 percent of the slopes can be covered with artificial snow. Activities Wurzeralm: 4km toboggan run, indoor pool and sauna in Spital am Pyhrn, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, ski trips, in Teichlboden was built at 1400m a 6km long ski-cross-country trail.
